  • Slightly mash the tomatoes to ensure they are completely cooked.
  • Add roasted and powdered methi and mustard seeds, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tbsp red chili powder, and 1 tsp salt.

  • In a separate small kadai, heat 2 tsp oil for tempering.
  • Add ¾ tsp mustard seeds, ¼ tsp hing, and a few curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.
